Photo: JASMINE MCKEE | Staff Photographer : The Carolina Beach State Park is located off Dow Road just off Highway 421. You can camp there for under $20 a day and they have numerous campsite options. You can also make reservations online (Strongly recommended because it's a popular spot in the summer season.) Visit them online at www.ncparks.gov or give them a call at (910) 458-8206. The marina is closed for renovations, but the fishing and trails are excellent.
