At ChristmaSea Holiday Shoppe, Noel Stevens takes Coastal Christmas to a whole new level, and that’s sea level. Virtually everything in the store is sea or coast inspired. From Seahorses, Shells, Fish, Surfboards, Sea Turtles, Dolphins, Shore Birds and Mermaid Ornaments, to Garlands, Lights, Pictures, Wood Carvings and Margaritaville Village Pieces, ChirstmaSea has done their Christmas Shopping.
ChristmaSea opened quietly on March 3rd, well after the Christmas rush was over. “We really had to take our time finding as many unique coastal Christmas items as we could, in fact we had to wait for many of the items to be made.”, says Noel Stevens. While we have always enjoyed taking the ferry over to Southport to buy ornaments, we want to have a place right here in Carolina Beach that would cater to locals and tourists. ChristmaSea has partnered with a company from Equador that supports free trade while helping woman by providing jobs and training. The make glass ornaments using recycled single pane window glass. They also carve Tagua Palm Tree nuts into flamingo, sharks, sea turtles and many more. When carved, the Tagua Nut is a great substitute for ivory. ChristmaSea is located at 807 North Lake Park Boulevard in Carolina Beach nestled just behind Sumthin Beachie. They can be reached by calling (910)445-3096 and follow “ChristmaSea” on facebook!
