CAROLINA BEACH, NC, January 22, 2018 at 2:50 p.m. - Officers with the Carolina Beach Police Department received a complaint of a suspicious person behind a residence on Sugarloaf Ct., in Carolina Beach. The reporting party provided a photograph of the suspicious person to officers. The suspicious person was identified as Santiago Rodriguez Figueroa, an 18 year old male residing at 403 Risley Rd.,Carolina Beach, N.C.

In conjunction with citizen involvement and continued police investigation, on January 23, 2018 at 8:33 p.m., Carolina Beach Patrol Officers arrived in the 500 block of Birmingham Ave. and arrested Santiago Rodriguez Figueroa. An accomplice, Bryce Allen Goldsbury, an 18 year old male of 517 Raleigh Ave.,Carolina Beach, N.C. was arrested. Both have been charged with Breaking/Entering multiple vehicles on Cape Fear Blvd, Sumter Ave, Lake Dr., and Birmingham Ave.

Santiago Rodriguez Figueroa was charged with:
3 Counts of Breaking/Entering a Motor Vehicle
2 Counts of Larceny after Breaking/Entering
1 Count of Attempted Breaking/Entering
1 Count of Resist, Delay and/or Obstruct an Officer
1 Count of Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance
Confined in the New Hanover County Jail under a $15,000 dollar secured bond

Bryce Allen Goldsbury was charged with:
3 Counts of Breaking/Entering a Motor Vehicle
2 Counts of Larceny after Breaking/Entering
1 Count of Attempted Breaking/Entering
1 Count of Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer
1 Count of Resist, Delay and/or Obstruct an Officer
Confined in the New Hanover County Jail under a $15,000 dollar secured bond
