Pleasure Island Soccer Fall Sign Up Deadline July 31st

The Pleasure Island Soccer Association (PISA) is accepting registration forms for the upcoming Fall Soccer Season.  The deadline for online registration is July 31st!
This Spring season will offer an 8 to 9 week schedule with games beginning in March and running through May.
The Recreation Program is a developmental and fun place for players of all skill levels from beginners to advanced. Boys and girls ages 3 to 18 are placed on single gender teams and when possible, special requests to play with other friends and/or coaches are granted. Since players are allowed (encouraged)
to participate from our Academy and Hurricanes programs, you will find the Recreation Program to be challenging as there may be skilled players throughout the divisions. Travel team players as well as high school players are welcome to play-in.
Team assignments can vary from season to season since many factors come into play including different team sponsors or coaches. But the primary criteria for team assignments for Recreation League are: Gender, Grade, Age, Zip Code. We try to make the most the most equitable teams possible while making it as convenient for parents for practices and games.
Fields are located at Veterans Park, Mike Chappell Park, Murray Middle School and Myrtle Grove Middle School. While practice may depend on coaches' schedules, all games will be on Saturdays. Game times vary due to multiple teams and field availability, but usually first games begin by 8:30am and end by 5pm.
Registration fees cover team jerseys. All that is required are cleats, black shorts/socks & shin-guards.
Fees also cover referee fees for ages 6+, field paint, goals, nets, field reservations, balls and other equipment. Since PISA is a charitable non-profit, we rely purely on registrations and business sponsorships to sustain the league, therefore team sponsorships are always needed. Becoming a team sponsor is easy, fun, excellent advertising, and is tax-deductible. Check out page 13B for a registration form or download one online at www.pleasureislandsoccer.com, there you can also offer to sponsor a team or coach!
EXTRA - The Pleasure Island Soccer Association (PISA) is a true non-profit organization funded ENTIRELY from private sources; our parents, players and from the generous support of our local Business Sponsors  We were founded in 1993 and have been serving our community with volunteer staff and coaching ever since. Our field locations are Veterans Park, Mike Chappell Park Carolina Beach, Ashley & Murray schools, and Myrtle Grove. Our program is so popular, we are now considered by many to be the largest single youth sports organization in the county with over 3,500 registrants in our Recreation Program in 2016, and another 500 in our Hurricanes and Academy Programs.
