The Federal Point Historic Preservation Society has reopened! Stop by for an amazing selection local books, CD’s, DVD’s, puzzles, magnets, cards, post cards and a huge selection of area historical and fictional books! Current hours are: Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.  Please stop by. Exhibits feature the history of the local area including the early history of Carolina and Kure Beaches, as well as featured topics such as WWII, the Boardwalk, and the Snow's Cut Bridge. Shop in the book shop, featuring a wide variety of books featuring history and culture of the Lower Cape Fear, including Chris Fonvielle's latest Glory at Wilmington about the Civil War battle of Forks Road.   
Don't forget the staff is always available to answer questions about local historical events and people as well as assist anyone doing research in our archives and library.
The Federal Point Historic Preservation Society is located next to town hall at  1121-A N Lake Park Boulevard in Carolina Beach. They can be reached by calling 910-458-0502.”
