NHRMC Foundation Receives Donation From Live Oak Bank

Local bank gives $250,000 to the NHRMC Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital

WILMINGTON, NC - Live Oak Bank has generously donated $250,000 to the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation to support the needs of patients, families, physicians and staff at the NHRMC Betty H. Cameron Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
 The donation, given by the Wilmington-based financial services company, will endow NHRMC Foundation’s fund for the Betty H. Cameron Women’s and Children’s Hospital and continue its mission to provide compassionate, innovative and high-quality care to patients.
 “We are honored and grateful to Live Oak Bank for this extremely generous gift. It is a testament to their philanthropic support of our community and to the hospital team who is dedicated to providing quality care to the women and children in our region,” said NHRMC Foundation Vice President of Development and Executive Director Schorr Davis. “Our patients, their parents and loved ones will benefit from this gift for many years to come.”
 The lobby of the birthing center has been named for Live Oak Bank in the NHRMC Betty H. Cameron Women’s and Children’s Hospital in honor of their support.
