Carolina Beach Community Acupuncture Expands with New Location in Wilmington

By / Health and Wellness / Wednesday, 19 November 2014 05:00

In response to a growing interest in Eastern medicine in the area and an ever-expanding client base, the folks at Carolina Beach Community Acupuncture have decided to open a new location in Wilmington, to better serve the local community.
Acupuncture and other forms of Oriental Medicine have proven their worth and necessity through more than 4000 years of successful application and results. Now, in our modern age, these methods are proving to be even more popular and useful than ever before.
In an attempt to share the healing powers of acupuncture with the western world, licensed acupuncturist, Jeremy Linquist opened Carolina Beach Community Acupuncture in November of 2010. Jeremy Linquist has been a licensed acupuncturist since 2008, after graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the prestigious Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. In February of this year, Justin Stiffler L.Ac. joined the practice. He has helped to expand their hours, allowing them to be open 6 days a week and offer both morning and evening appointments on various days. In September, CB Community Acupuncture welcomed, Ryanna Battiste, of Grub, to join them 2 days a month as they began their expansion to offer health, nutritional and lifestyle coaching.
Now, with such a high demand for treatment in the Wilmington area and a limited number of licensed acupuncturists in the area, they have opened a second location in the Eastern Therapeutic Center, at 3333 Wrightsville Avenue in Wilmington, to bring the same high quality, affordable Acupuncture and Prescription Herbal Consultations to the folks in Wilmington. At their new location they promise to offer the same focus on wellness, disease prevention, pain management, patient-centered care and personalized healthcare they have always provided. At an affordable rate of $30.00-$60.00 per treatment, on a sliding scale, CBCA is now able to serve the greater Wilmington area and expand the accessibility of their integrative medical treatments.    Acupuncture will be offered at both a community style setting, $30.00-$60.00, and also an Individual one-on-one setting, at $65.00 to $95.00. Herbal consultations will be booked separately for a flat consult fee of $50.00. For information on how to book an appointment at the Wilmington location contact Jody Butler at (910) 399-4845 or visit MyCommunity Acupuncture.com.
Treatments will be available with Jeremy on Tuesdays from 9:30am to 11:30am and with Justin, on Wednesdays, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and Fridays from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Carolina Beach Community Acupuncture is located at 1140 North Lake Park Boulevard, Suite I, in Carolina Beach.
