Wednesday Brenda Armes owner of Olde Salty’s celebrated 21 years in Business! In an ever-changing beach community this is quite the celebration as Olde Salty’s has persevered through several storms, nearby fires and ongoing construction all while staying open year-round! Guests enjoyed Light hors d'oeuvres and famous stories from the past 21 years!
A mainstay of Carolina Beach for over two decades Olde Salty’s is a famous destination for locals and tourists alike, throughout the year.  Just mere steps from the sand it is the perfect stop for beachgoers in the summer, while in the off season patrons can enjoy the go at your own pace environment while Olde Salty’s keeps you from ever being thirsty or hungry! Start your meal with any of their great appetizer selections like steamed oysters and shrimp, the tasty coconut shrimp or their world famous crab dip.  They serve up the very best in fried and steamed selections, like shrimp, flounder, deviled crab, clams, and oysters. You can order a large fried or steamed seafood dinner and even combinations of your favorites out of options which include flounder, shrimp, oysters, deviled crab, clam strips, and crab cakes. All of their cole slaw, tartar and cocktail sauces are all homemade and you can taste the difference.  If you’re not in the mood for seafood you can still find some great dinner choices at Olde Salty’s.  If you are stopping in for a quick bite or a light lunch try any of their great seafood and non seafood sandwiches and burgers.  No matter your mood you will always find the perfect lunch or dinner at Olde Salty’s.  Olde Salty’s also features daily specials as well as homemade desserts like bread pudding and cobblers.
Olde Salty’s is located on the Carolina Beach boardwalk at the corner of Oceanfront and S. Pavilion.  They have all ABC permits and feature a full bar along with a large selection of domestic and import beers.  Stop by Tuesdays at 7pm for there bowling tournament and Wednesday for their locally famous, Trivia Night! The Cape Fear Shag Club hosts Sundays at 5pm with an early evening of true beach dancing! As always Brenda and her crew serve up Drink and Dinner Specials 7 Days a week.
