“Black holes are where God divided by zero.” - Albert Einstein

I just wanted to write my article on the first day of my new program, Monday has morphed into Moday for me….you know, a day for me to take care of myself, and I opened up FaceBook and fell deep, deep, deep into a black hole where my friends were voicing different opinions on a very controversial subject.
How did FB worm its way into our daily lives?  When we move to the beach 12 years ago, I barely managed my email, let alone a social platform.  Kids nowadays are proficient on communication skills at their fingertips 24/7.
What does feng shui have to say about this dilemma?   Of course, there was not technology 5,000 years ago when feng shui was evolving in ancient China.  They did not have indoor toilets either, but the essence of the healing art was to create a space to live and work that would support you in your goals and dreams.
Pyramid feng shui uses this as a foundation and builds upon it using contemporary social sciences like sociology, psychology and neuro-science to not only create the space, but to explain ‘why’ the suggestions will work in your favor.
I met a couple the other night who moved here recently from the western part of the US.  As they were incorporating their prized possessions into their new ‘beach house’ it occurred to the wife that some of the Southwestern style pieces did not really fit her new coastal personality.  The husband loves them.  She…..not so much.  Doing a feng shui consultation for a couple is delicate because both individuals will have different emotional attachments.  Many of our likes and dislikes are formed in our psyche by the age of six and that includes colors, shapes, smells, viewpoint of sight.  Are you comfortable working in a loft area with clear sight down below or are you more comfortable nestled in a cubicle with protection all around?  Neither is right or wrong.  Good feng shui figures out which design layout is most harmonious with your particular and unique temperament.
Experiences influence preferences.  Smells seem to be the most potent at unlocking the memory holders.  Do you have a smell that you love?  One that repulses you?  Can you remember the first time the scent wafted up your nose? Feng shui consultations start at $150 for a two-hour onsite interview.  For $250 you can add elemental testing and receive a short report.  The one sold most commonly is the basic consultation with full report, pictures and 9-18 cures or suggestions.  It runs $499 and includes the entrance, main living area and master bedroom.  The report full of pictures is about 10 pages.  Additional rooms are $99 each.  I will be available for 3 months afterward to ask questions.
Space clearing services run $150 for 2 hours.
I do not do cookie cutter consultations because, as I learned on FB, we are all unique individuals and we see things from different perspectives. However, one thing I do believe is that in the big picture, we all do want the same thing. We want to have our basic needs met.  We want to feel safe and secure.  We want to feel like we belong and connected to family and friends.  We want to have good self-esteem so we like who we are and we want to want to be healthy and happy and content as we use our time on this earth to create a legacy.
I’m glad I got out of that black hole today.  If you are feeling like you are stuck, call me and we can feng shui you out, too.  xo mo
