In February, New Hanover County Schools will celebrate Career and Technical Education Month. The mission of Career and Technical Education (CTE) is to empower students with skills and knowledge needed for effective participation in a global economy as world-class workers, productive citizens and contributors to society. Students develop the ability to work independently and as part of a team, to think creatively to solve problems, and to utilize technology in the problem solving process.
