Dinos and Donuts at March 25th and 26th

KURE BEACH, N.C. — The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher serves up a perfect morning for those with a ferocious appetite for prehistoric knowledge with “Dinos and Donuts” on March 25 and 26 at 8 a.m.
The one-hour program delivers a rare treat appropriate for dinosaur lovers of all ages.
Dinosaur expert Chris DeLorey will share his knowledge and adventures during breakfast and lead a walking tour of the Aquarium’s new outdoor exhibit, “DINOSAURS!”.
DeLorey, also known as Dr. Dino, entertains while he educates, delivering decades of experience as both education director at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida and a fossil hunter. He will engage audiences with models and fossils for an interactive experience.
In addition, participants will take home a dinosaur-related souvenir.
Breakfast begins at 8 a.m. and will include dinosaur-themed donuts, provided by Wake and Bake Donuts, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk and coffee. “Dinos and Donuts” is $18 for ages 13 and older; $16 for ages 3 to 12; $5 for 2 year olds; children one and younger are free.
