Come Visit the Dinosaurs Before they are Gone

By / Life on the Island / Monday, 07 November 2016 05:00

Won't be long until the dinosaurs disappear (again) from our neck of the woods! Visit before Dec. 11 to catch these roaring beasts. “Step back millions of years and experience "DINOSAURS!" Massive animatronic beasts spit, roar and wow visitors, young and old. A stroll through the Aquarium’s outdoor garden reveals a fearsome T-Rex, a 23-foot-long brachiosaurus and other life-sized, prehistoric creatures.” This seasonal exhibit is free with Aquarium admission. Come on down to 900 Loggerhead Road in Kure Beach, they are open daily from 9:00am until 5:00pm.  The Aquarium admits all visitors free of charge on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, and on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, the third Monday each January.
