Yard Sale at Beach Community Church

Beach Community Church in Carolina Beach will be holding a yard sale June 3rd. We want to welcome you to our large lot at the corner of Cape Fear Blvd. & 4th St.. The proceeds will go to buy playground equipment for our children, and yours too. We also want to remind you that the FREE fruits & vegetables will be back this week. For those not familiar with this service to the community. Each week in the summer on Mondays and Fridays around 10:00 AM; we have fruits & vegetables brought in, and give them away for free. The selection and amount varies each time, and it's on a first come basis, but there's always plenty. These are just a few ways for us to bless the community we worship in.

When was the last time that you got up and “went to church”? For some of you, it was last week. For others, you can’t even remember. Sunday church services bring friends together and offer an opportunity to create new friendships. That hour at church provides a time for those who follow Jesus (or are trying to figure Him out) to worship, pray, learn about how to live life with Jesus at the center and to give back by giving, serving and sharing.
Carolina Coast Vineyard Church (CCVC) is not your ordinary church. We are a group of imperfect people who love Jesus and others and think that it is important to be ourselves as we grow in our faith. Contemporary, creative, casual, relevant.
We offer a number of small groups through the week and seek out ways to help our surrounding community.
Get yourself up out of bed this Sunday and join us.

Kure Beach Community Beach Worship begins May 31

We invite you to come and join us for “Worship on the Beach” every Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the beach access at Avenue F in Kure Beach.  This summer Beach Worship will begin on Wednesday, May 31, and will continue through the end of September. For the last 5 years, Kure Memorial Lutheran Church has been offering a midweek worship service on the beach throughout the summer beginning the Wednesday after Memorial Day.  We gather for songs of praise, prayer, scripture reading, a short meditation or discussion about the reading, Holy Communion, and conversation.  The service itself only lasts 25-30 minutes.  We try to make it extra meaningful by using sand, water and seashells for images of forgiveness and God’s care, as well as illustrations of how God loves us and uses us even though we may not be perfect.
Bring your beach chair or blanket and join us for a brief, meaningful service in the most beautiful “sanctuary” around!  It’s a great place to bring your children and their beach toys.  If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Dan Keck, Pastor of Kure Memorial Lutheran Church, at 910-458-5266.
