The Carolina Beach Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank everyone that came out to participate in our Annual Halloween Carnival this past Saturday, October 25th at Mike Chappell Park.   It was a great success with over 200 people and 400 cans of food collected for the Help Center.  We would like to give a big shout out and thank you to our volunteers for their help and a huge thank you to the Parks and Recreation Committee Members that volunteered their time.  We would also like to thank DJ Tommy Gun for laying down the mixes and to Party Hoppers for the bounce house and slide.  They were a huge success.  The weather was perfect this year for all of our little ghouls and goblins to show off their costumes.  Our Halloween costume winners are as follows: (Ages 0-4) 1st Place:  Chloe English as a Bumblebee 2nd Place:  Bailey Robinson as Princess Elsa 3rd Place:  Ella Keampef as a Ballerina (Ages 5-9) 1st Place:  Talon Grossclose as a Sumo wrestler 2nd Place:  Taylor Robinson as Smurfette 3rd Place:  Grant Ruscetti as a victim of sharknado (Ages 10-12) 1st Place:  Aubrie Ruscetti as Sharknado R 2nd Place:  November as Princess of Hearts 3rd Place:  Jolee McBride as a whoopee Cushion.  Thank you everyone for another successful Halloween Carnival!
