Family Paint Night at the Aquarium June 13th

KURE BEACH, N.C. — Mix a summer palette of fun during Family Paint Night at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. The creativity will flow as underwater views of sea turtles, sharks and schooling fish inspire your own masterpiece. Instructors from Saltwater Surf Art lead each session and provide paint, canvases and easels.  Sessions run every other Wednesday beginning June 13, 2018, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required. Fees are $45 per person. NC Aquarium Society Members receive a 10% discount. Appropriate for those 8 years old and older; children 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Themes change weekly.

About the Aquarium
The N.C. Aquarium at Fort Fisher is located south of Kure Beach, a short drive south from Wilmington, on U.S. 421. The site is less than a mile from the Fort Fisher ferry terminal. Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The Aquarium is one of three state aquariums in North Carolina administered by the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (NCDNCR).
