Editorial: Election Day Is November 3rd: Get Out And Vote!

Election Day is Tuesday November 3rd. Citizens should make it their top priority to head to the polls and exercise their right to participate in selecting who will have the power to make decisions on their behalf. This is the opportunity to participate in democracy.
One Stop voting for the 2015 Municipal Elections began on October 22nd and ends on Saturday October 31st. One-Stop voting will be conducted at the New Hanover County Board of Elections office at 230 Government Center Drive in Suite 39. Below are the times available for One-Stop Absentee voting.
Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Saturday (October 31st)- 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
For more information about voter registration and polling locations you can call (910) 798-7330 or visit the Elections Office online at www.nhcgov.com Since early voting began, 679 people have voted as of October 27th in all municipal elections in New Hanover County. Municipal Election Day is November 3rd, 2013. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
