The 2016 Primary Election is March 15th, from 6:30am to 7:30pm. Regardless of political affiliation, it's a powerful right to vote and it shouldn't be ignored.
The primary elections will determine who runs in the November Election for President, Governor, State Attorney General, NC Commissioner of Agriculture, County Commissioners, NC Superintendent of Public Instruction, Register of Deeds, NC Secretary of State, US House of Representatives and the Connect NC Public Improvement Bond.
You can vote early at a number of One Stop Absentee Voting locations throughout the County until Saturday March 12th.
Citizens should make it their top priority to head to the polls and exercise their right to participate in selecting who will have the power to make decisions on their behalf. This is the opportunity to participate in democracy.
For more information about voter registration and polling locations you can call (910) 798-7330 or visit the Elections Office online at www.nhcgov.com
