For Your Consideration: Founder’s Wisdom

It’s time to take a look at the Founders’ gift from another perspective, most people focus on the wording in our Founding documents and disregard the general principles that are the real framework for the words, and this has lead to a distortion of the principles.
Political parties, elected representatives, lawyers, and the Supreme Court have taken advantage of this weakness over the past two hundred plus years to distort the underlining principles. There are a number of general laws and principles that lend support to the principles in our Founding documents, the interaction of these laws and principles will hopefully give the reader a new perspective for determining what is need to bring to fruition the gift of our Founders.
The first item on the list of principles and laws is the Peter Principle, which states “In a hierarchy, every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence.”
This would seem to apply to every hierarchy regardless of the sector it's in, private or public. Since most cultures have had established hierarchies throughout history, it would appear that man’s culture has a built in destruction button. Something that fits in nicely with the Peter Principle is Murphy’s Law, which suggest: “If there are two or more ways to do something, and one of those ways can result in a catastrophe, then someone will select that option.”
This law is tailor made for the Peter Principle, and would seem to be a reasonable explanation for the condition that our government and most of our private sector institutions are in. Does this sound like a perfect depiction of the current state of our government?
There are theories, laws, and principles that can aid man in extracting himself from this cycle of destruction, but they can only be applied if the Nation applies the principles that are in our founding documents, the following four items can be applied to improve the species condition. Moore’s law states: "The number of transistors per square inch on integrated circuits had doubles every year.", and he predicted that this trend would continue for the foreseeable future, this prediction has proven to be correct up to this point. The significance of this fact is that it’s a new development and the government has not been involved with picking winners and losers among the corporations that formed in this new field, but that is beginning to change, so one can expect to see a change in the next decade, as a result of corporations trying to protect their position.
The next item is the Chaos theory, a study of nonlinear dynamics, which is much more complex because it suggests that seemingly random events are actually predictable from simple deterministic equations, but it has another side suggesting that there are too many intervening variables to give anything but a gross predictability within an areas of concern, but it does point out that one needs to connect seemingly unrelated factors, something that is overlooked by most planners.
The third item that needs to be employed is the scientific method, which is in fact a continual reevaluation of a theory that is being presented to explain a phenomenon, but it’s never accepted as a fact, because one can never be sure that all the intervening elements have been tested. The last item is the inclusion of the basic principles as they are related to the individual’s role and his/her freedom as outlined in the Founding documents.
The Founders have given us a plan that can work; the government has shown us what does not work, and why it does not work. It’s time we got back to the Founders’ plan and unleash the potential that is in man. The inconsistencies that we all have in our thinking need to be eliminated if we are to grow.
