Thank You For Rescuing My Laptop

By / Letters to the Editor / Wednesday, 04 February 2015 05:00

Carolina Beach Police - specifically police officer Cameron Morton - helped rescue an important computer and other personal items contained in a computer bag unintentionally left behind by this visitor to Carolina Beach last weekend. (Early January).
I was visiting the beach house of some friends from Fort Mill, South Carolina, and when we arrived back to Fort Mill on Sunday evening, I discovered I'd left my computer bag outside in the car port. A call to the Carolina Beach resulted in a conversation with police office Morton who rescued the bag, took it back to police headquarters and phoned promptly to let me know that the bag was safely in police custody.
I can't say enough about their help in this matter. I drove down the following day and was  rewarded with the hand over from police officer Morton of my computer bag and expressed my heartfelt thanks.
