A few years ago, I met Mario Costa, the owner of a plumbing company who was working at my home.  Mario’s mother had previously lost both of her legs due to diabetes and she had died.  From the tears and his facial expression, I knew it was a very painful time for Mario.  I said, “Mario, for you this is a time of grief and loss, but today your Mother has her legs back.  She has no pain, and it is a day of celebration for her.”  Mario replied, “My Mother asked me before she died if she could dance with the angels.  I said, “Mario, your Mother, Dorothy, must be a wonderful Christian lady.  You ‘ll always have great memories of her.”
Even though I never met Dorothy, I can’t get out of my mind the image of Dorothy dancing with the angels.  In 2 Samuel 6:14, David danced before the Lord.  In Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3:1-8, it says:  There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die, a  time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill  and  a time to heal, a time to tear down and a  time  to  build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a  time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time  to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Just as it says in Chapter 3, there is a time to mourn for Mario, but I believe it is a time to dance for Dorothy, and she is dancing with the angels.
