At last, it looks like the weather has broke. The timing seems to fit the part seeing as  our clocks decided to “spring” forward this week. Make sure you are prepared for the change because we lost an hour. The best part about the time change is that the sun stays up much longer, which will make for extra time to fish after work throughout the week. I only made it on the water once this week, but man was it a pretty day. It was nice to see some other boats on the water as well. The trout and redfish bite is getting better every day now. There are still some people playing with the striped bass up the river too. From this point on we will most likely see more and more species of fish show up.
All we need is for these warm days to keep happening so that the water temperature will go up. As I always like to say, get out there this week and catch some fish. And remember, be safe.

A nice spring time speckled trout.

A small but healthy flounder that we should start to see more of.
