Pleasure Island Youth Baseball Holds Opening Ceremonies

This past Friday April 10th Pleasure Island Youth Baseball League held their opening ceremonies at Mike Chappell Park. All 15 teams had their pictures taken by Phil Edwards Photography then later each team and player was called to the field. Pleasure Island Youth Baseball is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunity to all those who wish to participate in Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth baseball. PIYB's ultimate endeavor is to foster our player's development and strengthen fundamentals associated with the game of baseball. We strive to encourage and strengthen the virtues of sportsmanship, respect, competitiveness, teamwork, and work ethic in a positive environment that is fair, spirited, and fun for players and their families.
