CAROLINA BEACH – Carolina Beach Police are searching for a man that committed a robbery at the First Citizen’s Bank earlier this afternoon.

According to Police Chief Chris Spivey on Friday August 10th at 1:40pm, “Carolina Beach Police responded to a report of a robbery, at First Citizen’s Bank, 612 N. Lake Park Blvd. Reports indicate a subject entered the bank, passed a note demanding money, committed a robbery and fled the area on foot. The subject is described as a white male, in his late 20’s to early 30’s. A weapon was not displayed during the incident. This male suspect from the bank robbery and the female from the attempted Hardee’s restaurant robbery on August 9, 2018 are believed to be connected.”
 
Police are requesting the assistance from the public to help identify the suspect in the photograph.  Please call the Carolina Beach Police Department at (910) 458-2540 or Dial 911. 

Police are also asking the public for help in identifying a person in an a separate case of attempted robbery. On August 9th, at 7:38p.m. the Carolina Beach Police responded to a report of an attempted robbery, at 254 N. Lake Park Blvd. It was reported a subject entered the Hardee’s restaurant and provided an employee with a note demanding money. When the employee left the counter to alert other staff, the female exited the restaurant and fled the scene. The subject is described as a white female, in her early to mid-20’s. A weapon was not displayed during the incident.
