The Carolina Beach Downtown Initiative is happy to announce the 8th Annual Christmas by the Sea 2016.
The event will kick-off Friday, November 25th at approximately 7:30pm at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and will include the official “Lighting of the Boardwalk” a visit from Santa, hot chocolate and ornament crafts for the kids! Christmas by the Sea continues each Saturday through December 16th from 6:30 until 8:30pm. Guests can enjoy festively lit coves, weekly visits from Mr. & Mrs, Claus, free hot chocolate and crafts!
The Boardwalk area will be decorated and lit up each and every night during the holiday season starting with the lighting ceremony.
Christmas by the Sea is a winter event series at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk sponsored by the Carolina Beach Downtown Initiative and the Town of Carolina Beach. The Carolina Beach Downtown Initiative Group is a group of volunteer citizens and businesses from Carolina Beach that have joined forces to enrich the activities, entertainment and landscape of Carolina Beach.
Last week ladies with the Island Women group decorated the Carolina Beach Boardwalk Gazebo in preparation for Christmas By The Sea. This yearâs theme is Finding Dory, events kick-off this Friday! Island Women is a community action organization of women interested in improving the amenities that Pleasure Island has to offer. As a diverse group of localwomen with many talents and resources at hand, our objective is to improve the quality of life on Pleasure Island for our residents.
