Heaven gained a special Angel, The Man, The Myth, The Legend of Kure Beach . . . The Arch.  If you had the opportunity to meet “The Arch” you were blessed and will never forget him.  Arch loved everything about life.

Some of his favorites were tennis, golf, fishing, poker and shagging with his life-long dance partner but what Arch loved most about life was his family and his Wanda.

Archie’s Greek name is Athanasius which mean Greek male who is immortal, living forever, never dying.  There could not be a more fitting name for such a man who has left an impression on everyone he met and has given us so many memories that will keep him alive in our hearts eternally.

Private services for the family will be held.  Family will be receiving friends at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 4th, at Battle Acre (the Rocks) at Fort Fisher.

Memorials may be made to the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, NC.
