Monster Dash Brings Frightfully Fun Trail Run to Carolina Beach State Park

Still Time to Join the Cape Fear Flyers Fall Cross Country Team

This past Saturday the Carolina Beach State Park hosted the Cape Fear Flyer’s 1st Annual Monster Dash 2k/6k trail run. The course took costumed racers through the natural diversity of the park where they encountered festive Halloween décor and a true trail run experience. This year’s 2k overall winner was Sam Hagestrom of Carolina Beach with a time of 10:26 and this year’s overall 6k winner was Jack Brunecz of Fayetteville with a time of 20:08.
