Sheriff's Office Needs Public's Help Identifying Body Recovered From Cape Fear River Featured

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in identifying a man who was found drowned on August 1, 2015 at the North Carolina State Park located in Carolina Beach.  He is a Hispanic male between 25 and 35 years old, approximately 5’01” tall and 135 pounds, with short black hair and a thin beard. He was wearing blue jean shorts with a brown belt, grey boxer briefs, grey socks, no shirt, and bright red Nike basketball sneakers.  He also had an earring with a clear stone in his left ear.
