Carolina Beach Honors Kenny Lewis For 35 Years Of Service Featured

CAROLINA BEACH - The Town of Carolina Beach recognized Kenny Lewis on February 25th, for his 35 years of service to the Town.

Mark Meyer - Public Utilities Director - explained Lewis is, "What we call our lifer." Lewis started working for the Town when he was 22-years old. Meyer said, "Kenny has successfully completed his 35-years here. I don't think anybody is going to reach this milestone."

Lewis explained, "Ok, on behalf of Carolina Beach and the Town, I thank you all for all that the Town has done for me throughout the years and I hope the next few more years will be just as great. Thank you." Councilman Steve Shuttleworth said, "35 years, that's amazing." Lewis works in the Town's Operations Department and is a well known friendly face around Town. Always working hard and conveying a positive smile to anyone he encounters.
