Kure Beach Police Investigating Two Vehicle Auto Accident Featured

KURE BEACH - The Kure Beach Police Department is currently investigating a two vehicle auto accident that occurred Friday night, July 17th resulting in a passenger vehicle overturning in the middle of Fort Fisher Blvd.
According to Detective Sgt. Jamison King, everyone walked away from the incident in good condition. The incident involved a white passenger vehicle and a jeep.
King explained, "We are working to obtain video from local hotels and businesses to learn exactly what happened."
King said no alcohol was involved and no charges have been filed at this time.
Local resident Terri  Chabot explained in a Facebook post, "This car landed very close to our porch", and, "The circumstances seemed very unusual, and two young girls standing nearby could have been killed. Appeared to be travelling well over the 25 MPH limit."
