This past Memorial Day Weekend, as tourists and families made their way to the beach, a few people stopped for a delicious breakfast at the Katie B. Hines Senior Center before basking in the sun.
The Senior Center prepared buttery pancakes along with patty sausage and scrambled eggs to over 100 people from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Orange Juice and coffee was also available as beverages were. “The pancake breakfast was a great success, we were very pleased with the outcome. Tourists, members, town people, and all kids showed up for the event. It was open to the public so there were a lot of different people around,” explained Marilyn.
