2013 Island of Lights Planning Begins New Members welcome at February Island of Lights Meeting at 7 PM - Tuesday, February 5th at Carolina Beach Community Center located at Raleigh and 3rd (behind the Library)
With the 2012 Holiday Season behind us, the Island of Lights Committee thanks everyone in the Community who supported us with their time, donations, and cooperation. This includes the Towns of Carolina and Kure Beach, as well as local businesses and community members.
Moving into 2013, the Island of Lights Committee will be discussing planned events at the next meeting. We need more volunteers in order to continue to bring the Holiday Events to Pleasure Island. At the upcoming meeting we will discuss events and volunteer opportunities for each. Please stop by and find out what it takes to organize and execute each of the Holiday events (Light up the Lake, Parade, Flotilla, Home Tour, New Year’s Eve Celebration), as well as, fund raising events held prior to the Holiday Season. Refreshments will be served. See you there!
