Food Venders Announced for the 19th Annual Pleasure Island Seafood, Blues, & Jazz Festival

The Food, Snacks &  Wine vendors for the 19th Annual Seafood Blues & Jazz Festival have been announced as itemized below.  As always, we will have everything from Kettle Korn and Italian Ice to Chowder, Fried Fish and Oysters on the Half-Shell.  For your vino selection, there will be two Wine Vineyards represented inside and out.
N. C. Sweet Tea will bring you all your carnival favorites like Funnel Cakes, Fried Pickles, Sweet Tea and Lemonade. Carolina Beach’s Island Ice Factory    will selling some of their great Italian Ice, be sure to purchase the large koozie style cup that can be refilled for a lesser charge! Firehouse Kettle Korn who has quickly become famous at the Carolina Beach Farmers Market will be popping some of the freshest, sweet and salty Kettle Korn. Kona Ice of Coastal Carolina will  have freshly Shaved KONA Ice Activity Truck. Skinner’s Peanuts will serve Fresh Boiled, Roasted, Green & Dried Peanuts, Sodas and Water. Try some of Shirley’s Peanut Brittle & More selling Brittle available in several different flavors including Peanut, Pecan  Cashew, Cayenne Pepper and Cinnamon. The “Smokin’ Pitt Bar-B-Q” will sell BBQ, SW Chicken, Turkey Legs, Fish Dogs, Burgers, Hot Dogs and Fries. Carolina Beach’s own Michael’s Seafood will be selling their International Award-winning Seafood Chowder. The family at Holmes Chicken & Seafood will be cooking their famous Chicken, Fish, Shrimp and Fries. Wilmington’s Fish Bites Seafood is a must have cooking up Calamari, Seafood Po-Boys, Coconut Shrimp and awesome Seafood nachos! Carolina Beach’s Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar will serve their famously prepared Oysters on the half shell and Boiled Shrimp. For all your “Greek” favorites, “Greek Boys” will be cooking Greek Souvlaki, Philly Wraps, Greek Salad Pita, Polish Sausages and Fries. Carolina Beach’s Lazy Pirate will have Wings, Fish & Chips, Chili, Fries and Soft Drinks. For fresh and unique homemade soups visit “The Grille.” The Silver Coast Winery will be pouring red, white, and blush wines all from Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Noni Bacca Winery will served their Award-winning white, red, blush, Sweet & Fruity and Dessert Wines.     
Don’t forget about the amazing FREE Kidz Fantazy Zone - will be back with magicians, juggling acts, face painting, educational exhibits and inflatables and much more!  You can also get a little shopping in at the new and improved Crafter’s Village as well as having a glass of wine or a bottle of beer.
Printed tickets are just about gone – after that it will be on-line tickets which are going fast also.  Tickets are just $40.00 in advance for a two-day pass or can be purchased at the door (if available) for $50.00 for Saturday (Gregg Allman plays Saturday night) and $15.00 for Sunday.  Kids 12 and under are free.  We ask that you do not bring coolers or pets, but bring your chairs, towels and blankets for a Pleasure Island style weekend.  See you there!
