Intermittent Daytime Lane Closures on U.S. 421 Bridge in New Hanover County Begin Monday

RALEIGH – Intermittent daily lane closures in both directions of the U.S. 421 bridge over the Cape Fear River in Wilmington begin Monday, April 7, weather permitting.

The lane closures, scheduled from 9:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m., are necessary for crews to perform biannual bridge inspections and will last through Thursday, April 10.
