Boat Slid Off Trailer; Caused Traffic Backup Sunday Afternoon

A boat slid off a trailer while turning onto N. Lake Park Blvd near Snow's Cut Bridge Sunday afternoon July 14. No one was injured. Traffic was backed up in the northbound lanes until the boat was placed back on the trailer.

Vehicle Fire At Marriott Hotel Tuesday Morning

Nine vehicles were damaged following an early Tuesday morning vehicle fire at the Marriott Hotel in Carolina Beach. No one was injured. Carolina Beach Names New Parking Lot After Interim Town Manager Bruce Shell

The Town of Carolina Beach honored Interim Town Manager Bruce Shell for his service to the Town on Tuesday July 2nd, by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to open a new parking lot called "The Shell Lot". Shell will end his time as Interim Manager this week. A new manager is expected to be announced soon.
