Carolina Beach Fire Department Holds Ground Breaking For Station

The Carolina Beach Fire Department held a ground breaking ceremony for a $1.3 million dollar station expansion project on Monday night June 24th. The hosted local elected leaders, Town officials, members of the fire department and their families. The project is expected to begin soon and be completed within nine months.

Carolina Beach Agrees To Lease Land For Parking Near Lake

The old car wash across from the Carolina Beach Lake was demolished Tuesday May 21. Last week the Town Council agreed in closed session to lease the property with an option to buy at a later date. The land will be used to provide public parking for events at the Carolina Beach Lake and beach access.
