Time For The Steve Haydu St. Patricks Lo Tide Run

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
March 16th is almost here and we all know what that means, it is time for the 9th running of The Steve Haydu St. Patrick’s Lo Tide Run. It is going to be an incredible day on Pleasure Island with thousands of visiting participants, hundreds of volunteers and even more spectators.  With the 10K Race and the 5K Race-Walk-Crawl cruising through all the neighborhoods in Carolina Beach, it is a great time to join with your neighbors and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by being out in your front yards and cheering the participants on.  As in past years, those of us that cannot participate or spectate because we need to be somewhere else that morning will want to plan ahead so that we aren’t late for our appointments. Be sure to check the maps of the courses on the website  And, those of us that are planning yard parties, be sure to get your green on and decorate, play music and cheer these folks on. BTW, If it is a great yard party, let me know, I will want to come by if I can slip away.
Mostly, I want to thank everyone that is involved, in any way, with this event. It is because of your help that we will be able to have a real IMPACT on the lives of our friends
and neighbors that live right here in New Hanover County and we cannot do this without you.  If anyone would like more information on The Steve Haydu St. Patrick’s Lo Tide Run please contact me.
My email and phone number are on the website.  So, go to our website to register to run, to sponsor or to donate to the cause. You can also follow us on Facebook.  I am really looking forward to seeing everyone there. – Scott
