• 1/24 - Ashley 66 New Bern 47 - It was from the opening tip-off the Lady Eagles Varsity Basketball team came to New Bern to play, but wasn’t clear was that someone would drop a career high in points scored. By the end of the 1st quarter the Ladies already had a 12-point lead 20-8. By halftime the Eagles extended their lead to 21-points 38-17. After halftime the Ladies pull off the gas and allowed New Bern to cut 10-points off their lead after outscoring them 19-9 bringing the score to 46- HIGHLIGHTS: Breanna Edwards career High with 29-points, 8 steals, 2 assist, and a block; Felecity Havens had 17-points, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals; and Jada Bacchus had 15-points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.
