Ashley Varsity Baseball move open season

• 2/27 – Ashley 11 West Brunswick 3 - The Ashley varsity baseball team opened the 2013 season on Wednesday with an 11-3 road victory in Shallotte as we beat the #4 3A team in the state, the West Brunswick Trojans.  Even though the bats came out a little cold, as we only produce one hit for the game, we showed great patience at the plate, drawing 10 walks, 2 hit by pitches, and gave our pitching staff a nice cushion to work with.  Kameron Johnson recorded the only hit for Ashley on the evening.  Eric Eason started the game on the mound, throwing 4 innings, allowing 1 hit while striking out 4.  Pante Miliotis tossed an inning in relief, recording 2 strikeouts, and Matt Davis finished it up with 2 innings, striking out 1.
